- Goidschalxoord is een dijkdorp in de gemeente Hoeksche Waard, in de Nederlandse provincie Zuid-Holland. Tot 1855 was het een zelfstandige gemeente, waarna het opging in Heinenoord. Het dorp ligt tussen Oud-Beijerland en Heinenoord in, waarmee het één aaneengesloten lint van bebouwing vormt. De naam Goidschalxoord ontleent het dorp aan een van de eerste ambachtsheren, Goidschalck Oelm. Aan de Goidschalxoordsedijk staat de Molen van Goidschalxoord, een korenmolen die na ruim een halve eeuw van verwaarloosd onderhoud ernstig in verval was geraakt. In 2007 begon de volledige restauratie van de molen en het eveneens vervallen molenaarshuis. In 2010 stonden molen en molenaarswoning er weer netjes hersteld bij en op de Nationale Molendag van dat jaar, 8 mei 2010, werd de hernieuwd maalvaardige molen feestelijk heropend. (nl)
