- Das Deutsche Institut für Medizinische Dokumentation und Information (DIMDI) war eine nachgeordnete Behörde des Bundesministeriums für Gesundheit. Es wurde 1969 mit Sitz in Köln gegründet. Zu seinen Aufgaben gehörte es, der fachlich interessierten Öffentlichkeit aktuelle Informationen aus dem gesamten Gebiet der Human- und Zahnmedizin, einfach und schnell zugänglich zu machen. Darüber hinaus beteiligte sich das DIMDI auch maßgeblich an der Entwicklung des weltweit anerkannten Klassifikationssystems für medizinische Diagnosen, der Internationalen statistischen Klassifikation der Krankheiten (ICD). Das DIMDI war außerdem Herausgeber deutscher Versionen medizinischer Klassifikationen und führte nationale Register u. a. zu klinischen Studien und legalen Arzneimittel-Versandhändlern. - La "Germana Instituto pri Medicina Dokumentado kaj Informado" - germane Deutsches Institut für Medizinische Dokumentation und Information (DIMDI) - estas centra oficejo de la registaro de Germanio pere de ties ministerio pri sano. La instituto fondiĝis en 1969 kaj havas sian sidejon en Kolonjo. Inter la ĉefaj taskoj de la instituto estas rapide kaj simple disponigi al la fake interesita publiko (aparte en la germana lingvo, sed ne nepre nur) aktualajn informojn el la vasta gamo de medicinaj temoj. Sume en la instituta retejo akireblas vasta gamo da datumaroj pri medicino, farmakologio, toksikologio kaj psikologio – sume proksimume 70 datumaroj kun iom pli ol 100 milionoj da informaj unuoj. Preskaŭ ĉiuj datumaroj estas publikaj, kaj proksimume duono el ili alireblas senkoste. Iuj datumaroj pro germanaj leĝoj estas limigitaj al nur fakuloj, precipe kuracistoj kaj apotekistoj, kaj tial nur uzeblas post registriĝo kaj per specifaj kodoj. La Monda Organizaĵo pri Sano konfimis la instituton en 2003 kaj 2008 kiel germanlingva "kunlabora centro por la familio de internaciaj klasifikoj" (angle "Collaboration Centre for the Family of International Classifications", germane "Kooperationszentrum für das System Internationaler Klassifikationen"). - The German Institute for Medical Documentation and Information (German: Deutsches Institut für Medizinische Dokumentation und Information), abbreviated DIMDI, was a German organization responsible for medical information classification and management. It was a government Institute of the German Federal Ministry of Health and was located in Cologne, Germany. The DIMDI published official medical classifications such as ICD-10-GM and OPS (German Procedure Classification) and maintained medical terminology dictionaries, thesauri, nomenclatures and catalogs (e.g. MeSH, UMDNS, Alpha-ID, LOINC, OID) that are important for health information exchange and other applications. DIMDI also developed and operated database-supported information systems for drugs and medical devices and was responsible for a program of health technology assessment (HTA). It also provided information intended for patients. On 26 May 2020, the DIMDI was merged with the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) into a single agency under the auspices of the BfArM "to combine the resources and expertise of both authorities".
