- Forest Hill ist eine im Bau befindliche unterirdische Stadtbahnstation in Toronto. Sie entsteht als Teil der Eglinton-Linie, die zum Netz der Toronto Subway gehören wird. Die Station befindet sich im Stadtteil Forest Hill, unter der Kreuzung von und Bathurst Street. Ihre Eröffnung ist für das Jahr 2023 geplant. Die von IBI Group Architects und SNC Lavalin entworfene Station wird über zwei Eingänge verfügen. Der barrierefreie Haupteingang wird sich an der Nordostseite der Straßenkreuzung befinden, der Nebeneingang etwa 50 Meter westlich davon an der Nordseite der Eglinton Avenue. Beide werden eine Verbindung zur Verteilerebene herstellen, von wo aus der Mittelbahnsteig auf der zweiten Ebene erreicht werden kann. Vorgesehen sind Umsteigemöglichkeiten zu vier Buslinien der Toronto Transit Commission. Im Juni 2013 begannen die Tunnelbohrarbeiten an der Eglinton-Linie. Am 18. April 2016 stürzte ein Gerüst, das über der Fassade des zukünftigen Nebeneingangs errichtet worden war, ein und verletzte sieben Personen, drei davon schwer. Ursprünglich hätte die Station im September 2021 in Betrieb genommen werden sollen. Aufgrund verschiedener unvorhergesehener Probleme während der Arbeiten erklärte die staatliche Verkehrsplanungsgesellschaft Metrolinx im Februar 2020, dass sie erst im Verlaufe des Jahres 2022 eröffnet werden wird. Im Dezember 2021 rechnete Metrolinx jedoch damit, dass die Strecke möglicherweise erst zu Beginn des Jahres 2023 in Betrieb gehen könnte. (de)
- Forest Hill is an underground light rail transit (LRT) station under construction on Line 5 Eglinton, a new line that is part of the Toronto subway system. It will be located in the Forest Hill neighbourhood at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue. It is scheduled to open in 2023. The station will have two entrances. The main entrance will be at the northeast corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Bathurst Street and will be fully accessible. The secondary entrance will be on the north side of Eglinton about 50 m (160 ft) west of Bathurst Street, opposite Peveril Hill, and will include retail spaces at street level. On-street connections will be available for TTC buses. There will be 60 exterior spaces for bicycles. The secondary entrance building will also house a traction power substation. (en)
- 포레스트힐역 (Forest Hill Station)은 토론토 지하철에 새로 지어지고 있는 경전철 노선인 5호선 에글린턴선의 정차역이다. 토론토 지역의 배서스트 스트리트와 에글린턴 애비뉴에 위치한 이 역은 2023년에 개통을 앞두고 있다. 5호선 에글린턴선 계획 과정에서 교차하는 도로 이름을 따라 배서스트역이라고 지으려고 하였으나 2호선 블루어-댄포스선의 동명의 역과 이름이 겹치는 관계로 2015년 11월 23일 교통국 이사회 권고에 따라 포레스트힐역으로 이름을 바꾸었다. 에글린턴과 배서스트 교차로 북동쪽에 있던 자그마한 광장과 카페, 편의점은 경전철역 정문 건설을 위해 철거되었다. 두 번째 출입구는 교차로 북서쪽에 페버릴힐 근처에 지어진다. 역 정문, 두 번째 출입구와 견인변전소 건설을 위해 에글린턴 애비뉴 웨스트 842번지와 874-876번지 부지가 수용되었다. 터널 외벽 공사가 마무리된 2015년 8월 16일에 배서스트 스트리트의 도로 복원 작업이 들어갔다. 2016년 4월 18일, 두 번째 출입구 부지이자 캐나다 중국 음식점이였던 하우스 오브 챈 (House of Chan) 건물 정면이 붕괴하면서 정면에 설치되었던 공사장 비계가 무너져 7명이 부상당했다.
