- Das Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz und Terrorismusbekämpfung (BVT) war eine österreichische Sicherheitsbehörde mit nachrichtendienstlichem Charakter. Hauptaufgabengebiet des BVT war der Schutz von verfassungsmäßigen Einrichtungen der Republik Österreich sowie die Sicherstellung von deren Handlungsfähigkeit. Die Behörde wurde 2002 aus der Staatspolizei sowie einigen Sondereinheiten (EDOK und EBT – Einsatzgruppe zur Bekämpfung des Terrorismus), die wie das ehemalige Bundesamt direkt der Generaldirektion für die öffentliche Sicherheit beim Bundesministerium für Inneres unterstanden, gegründet.Das BVT erstellte jährlich den Verfassungsschutzbericht. Mit 1. Dezember 2021 wurde die Behörde aufgelöst und in die neu geschaffene Direktion für Staatsschutz und Nachrichtendienst überführt. (de)
- The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and Counterterrorism (Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz und Terrorismusbekämpfung, "BVT") was an Austrian police organization that acts as a domestic intelligence agency. It is tasked with the protection of the constitutional organs of the Republic of Austria and their ability to function. The agency was created from the Austrian State police, as well as various special task forces targeting organized crime and terrorism that were under the direction of the Directorate General for Public Security (Generaldirektion für die öffentliche Sicherheit, "GDföS"), which itself is a department of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. The BVT publishes the Verfassungsschutzbericht, an annual report on the status of the protection of the constitution. In late 2021, following criticism for perceived failures in preventing the 2020 Vienna attack, the BVT was dissolved and replaced with the new State Security and Intelligence Directorate (DSN). (en)

- Federalny Urząd Ochrony Konstytucji i Kontrterroryzmu (niem. Bundesamt für Verfassungschutz und Terrorismusbekämfung, BVT) – była austriacka agencja bezpieczeństwa o charakterze wywiadowczym, która zajmowała się głównie ochroną instytucji konstytucyjnych oraz zapewnieniem im zdolności do prawidłowego działania. Agencja została utworzona z wydzielenia części austriackiej policji państwowej oraz innych specjalnych grup zadaniowych podlegających zajmujących przestępczością zorganizowaną i terroryzmem. Generalnej Dyrekcji ds. Bezpieczeństwa Publicznego jest zaś częścią , co sprawia, że BVT była jej również podległa. 1 grudnia 2021 roku agencja została rozwiązana i przekształcona w Dyrekcję Ochrony Państwa i Wywiadu. Utworzenie nowej organizacji według rozporządzenia ministerialnego nie zmienia zasad działania agencji, a ma za zadanie rozszerzyć jej skład personalny oraz poprawić jakość prac. (pl)
