- The European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) network is a European collaborative hybrid project of transnational investigative journalism. EIC was established in the fall of 2015 with founding members, including Der Spiegel, El Mundo, Mediapart, the Romanian Centre for Investigative Journalism (CRJI), and Le Soir, and launched in the winter of 2016. On March 18, 2016, after three months research, they published the results of their first joint investigation spurred on by the 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, in which they revealed how in spite of security risk warnings, "the EU’s freedom of goods policy facilitated the sale of weapons leading to [the 2015] terror attacks in Paris." In 2017 working with "over 60 journalists in 14 countries", the EIC published the Football Leaks—the "largest leak in sports history". (en)
- Le réseau European Investigative Collaborations (EIC) est un réseau européen d'investigation journalistique élaboré à l'automne 2015 et mis en route à l'hiver 2016. Rassemblant à l'origine neuf médias fondateurs , il a publié en mars 2016 une première enquête test consacrée aux « armes de la terreur » et aux filières d'armes des terroristes actifs en Europe de l'Ouest . En décembre 2016, le réseau est à l'origine des Football Leaks, révélations sur l'argent des joueurs, clubs et agents du monde du football, et il récidive en mai 2017 en publiant les Malta Files, révélations sur les structures d'optimalisation fiscale basées à Malte. Fin septembre 2017, le réseau a entamé la publication des « Secrets de la Cour », révélations sur les agissements du premier procureur de la Cour pénale internationale, Luis Moreno Ocampo. Le réseau EIC réunit désormais une douzaine de médias européens et, selon les dossiers, jusqu'à cent journalistes d'investigation. (fr)

Het netwerk werd in het najaar van 2015 opgericht door onder meer Der Spiegel, El Mundo, Mediapart, het Roemeense Centrum voor onderzoeksjournalistiek CRJI en Le Soir. Nadien traden nog verschillende nieuwsmedia toe tot de groep, in België en Nederland De Standaard, Le Soir en NRC Handelsblad. Publicaties gingen in de winter van 2016 van start, en resulteerden in spraakmakende reportages over de aanslagen in Parijs in november 2015, (2016), de Malta Files (2017) en Congo Hold-up (2021).
