- Elektronorgtechnica (also spelled Electronorgtechnica, Russian: Всесою́зное Объедине́ние «Электро́норгтехника», tr. Vsesoyúznoye Obyedinéniye "Elektrónorgtekhnika"), better known abbreviated as ELORG (Элорг), was a state-owned organization with a monopoly on the import and export of computer hardware and software in the Soviet Union. It was controlled by the Ministry of Foreign Trade of the USSR from 1971 to 1989. The company was associated with the export of Soviet design calculators, Electronika being one brand that was exported, rebranding them as ELORG products. Elorg also marketed the Agat computer, and imported IBM computers into the Soviet Union, starting with the IBM System/360 Model 50 in 1971. In 1991, as the Soviet Union was being dissolved, Elorg was turned into a private business by its director, Nikolai Belikov. Elorg was sold to The Tetris Company in January 2005 for $15 million. Robert Maxwell pressured Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachev to cancel the contract between Elorg and Nintendo concerning the rights to the game Tetris. (en)
- Elektronorgtechnica (ou Electronorgtechnica, en russe Всесоюзное Объединение « Электроноргтехника »), aussi abrégé ELORG (Элорг), est une ancienne organisation de l'URSS, qui était chargée de gérer les importations et exportations informatiques du pays. Elle est issue du ministère de l'Export du Logiciel et du Matériel. Le nom de l'entité fait référence à Electronika, une compagnie soviétique produisant du matériel informatique. Les produits de cette société seront par la suite revendus à l'international sous la marque ELORG. En 1991, Elorg est transformée en une compagnie privée par son directeur Nikoli Belikov. Elorg est vendue à The Tetris Company en janvier 2005 pour 15 millions de dollars. ELORG a notamment été chargée de gérer la licence et le marketing du jeu Tetris, inventé par Alekseï Pajitnov à l'Académie des sciences de l'URSS. En effet, sous le régime soviétique, les créations intellectuelles des chercheurs soviétiques revenaient entièrement à l'État, et la création d'ELORG permit de contourner ce système. (fr)
