- Česko se účastnilo 63. ročníku hudební soutěže Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Národní finále organizovala veřejnoprávní Česká televize, aby se vybral účastník, který bude mít vystoupení na Eurovizi 2018 v portugalském hlavním městě Lisabonu. Vyhrál v něm Mikolas Josef se svou skladbou Lie to Me. Ten se umístil na třetím místě v semifinále a postoupil tak do finále. Zde získal celkově šesté místo z 43 zúčastněných zemí. Šlo tak o historicky nejúspěšnější účast České republiky na Eurovision. (cs)

- The Czech Republic participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Lie to Me" written and performed by Mikolas Josef. The Czech broadcaster Česká televize (ČT) organised the national final Eurovision Song CZ in order to select the Czech entry for the 2018 contest in Lisbon, Portugal. Six entries competed in the national final and "Lie to Me" performed by Mikolas Josef was announced as the winner on 29 January 2018 following the combination of votes from a ten-member international jury panel and a public vote. Czech Republic was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 8 May 2018. Performing during the show in position 5, "Lie to Me" was announced among the top 10 entries of the first semi-final and therefore qualified to compete in the final on 12 May. It was later revealed that Czech Republic placed third out of the 19 participating countries in the semi-final with 232 points. In the final, Czech Republic performed in position 14 and placed sixth out of the 26 participating countries, scoring 281 points. (en)
