The gunman boarded the van and shot two teenage girls working there, then forced a male customer to lie on the pavement and shot him also. The killings were claimed by the "Protestant Action Force", who alleged the mobile shop was owned by an Irish republican. Staff said they had been harassed by Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) soldiers for not serving them.

  • On 28 March 1991 a member of the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF), a loyalist paramilitary group, shot dead three Catholic civilians at a mobile shop in Craigavon, County Armagh, Northern Ireland. The killings were carried out by the Mid-Ulster UVF, which was commanded by Billy Wright. A UVF member was convicted and imprisoned in 1995 for being the getaway driver. He and another loyalist named the killer, but he has never been charged. Relatives of the victims took a civil case against him, and in 2021 Belfast High Court issued an order holding him liable for the killings. (en)
  • Ar 28 Márta 1991, mharaigh Óglaigh Uladh (UVF nó an "Protestant Action Force") triúr Caitliceach, Katrina Rennie (16), Eileen Duffy (19) agus Brian Frizzell (29). Scaoileadh iad ar an eastát Drumbeg i Craigavon. Bhí na cailíní i mbun siopa taistil ar an eastát agus bhí an fear, ina chustaiméir, san áit mhícheart ag an am mícheart. Fuath seicteach, go príomha, a bhí taobh thiar den ionsaí. Ní raibh aon bhaint ag na híospartaigh leis an IRA. Cion sa chion, dúnmharaíodh beirt Protastúnach, Derek Patterson, ar 9 Aibreán agus Ian Sproule ar 12 Aibreán. Sa bhliain 1992, cúisíodh Tom Harper as bheith comhpháirteach, an tiománaí ar an 28 Márta. Nior rugadh riamh ar an bhfear gunna. Bhí Billy Wright i gceannas ar an UVF i Lár Uladh ag an am, paraimíleatach dílseach. Deirtear gur ordaigh sé an t-ionsaí seo. Deirtear chomh maith go raibh sé freagrach as scór dúnmharuithe seicteacha (agus ‘King Rat’ a thugtaí air). Bhí líomhaintí ann maidir le claonpháirteachas le paraimíleataigh níos déanaí. Aisteach go leor, chaill na póilíní cartlanna sa bhliain 1968. (ga)
