- Bei den Commodore PC-10 bis PC-70 handelt es sich um eine Serie von IBM-PC-kompatiblen Computer von Commodore, die 1984 bis Mitte der 1990er Jahre verkauft wurde. Sie wurden in der Braunschweiger Entwicklungsabteilung konstruiert und im dortigen Endfertigungswerk teilweise auch montiert. Mit dieser Rechnerfamilie lieferte sich Commodore ein paar Jahre lang ein Kopf-an-Kopf-Rennen mit IBM um die Marktführerschaft im PC-Bereich in Deutschland, typischerweise wechselte die Führung von Monat zu Monat. Als Höhepunkt erreichte man es, dass nach der Wende sämtliche Büros der Deutschen Reichsbahn in Ostdeutschland mit Commodore-PCs ausgerüstet wurden. (de)

Sono tipici computer di tipo IBM compatibile, senza particolari innovazioni, ma erano in genere competitivi rispetto agli IBM originali per quanto riguarda il prezzo. Vennero venduti dalla Commodore affiancando la linea dei Commodore Amiga e del Commodore 128. Con questa gamma, nel 1988 la Commodore era divenuta il maggior produttore di PC professionali (nella fascia di prezzo alta) in Germania, con il 17,4% del mercato, e il terzo produttore in Europa. W skład jej wchodziły modele od PC-10 (odpowiednik IBM PC/XT powstały w roku 1985) do PC-60 (model z procesorem 386 25 MHz). Komputery te cechowały się wysoką ceną w stosunku do możliwości (niczym nie wyróżniających się w stosunku do innych komputerów z tymi samymi procesorami) — wynikało to z tego, że powodem ich opracowania była bowiem w największym stopniu chęć pokazania możliwości technologicznych firmy Commodore, a nie walka o miejsce na rynku. Dlatego też modele te nie zdobyły istotnego miejsca na rynku. W Polsce komputery Commodore PC-1 były sprzedawane w sklepach Pewexu od roku 1988 (pl)
