Channel Five is an Urdu language Pakistani television channel based in Lahore, launched in year 2012. They are managed by Dot Republic Media Group They are part of Khabrain Group who publishes Khabrain Newspaper. They are based in Lahore, Pakistan. On the 30 October 2022, the Channel 5 reporter Sadaf Naeem died in an accident while attempting to receive an interview of Imran Khan during the Azadi rally. It caused UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay to raise concern in regards to the security of journalists.
