- The Canadian Auto Workers (CAW; formally the National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada) was one of Canada's largest and highest profile labour unions. In 2013, it merged with the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada, forming a new union, Unifor. While rooted in Ontario's large auto plants of Windsor, Brampton, Oakville, St. Catharines, and Oshawa, the CAW has expanded and now incorporates workers in almost every sector of the economy. The presidents of the CAW were Bob White (1985-1992), Buzz Hargrove (1992-2008), Ken Lewenza (2008-2013), and Jerry Dias (2013–2022) when the CAW became UNIFOR. (en)

Il représentait des travailleurs issus de divers milieux, mais surtout de l'industrie automobile et aérospatiale. Il regroupait 260 000 membres dans tout le Canada, dont 25 000 au Québec. Le syndicat compte plus de 70 000 femmes qui représentent 27 % de son effectif. Le 31 août 2013 il fusionne avec le (en) pour former Unifor. (fr)
- Канадська профспілка автопрацівників (англ. Canadian Auto Workers — CAW) була однією з найбільших профспілок Канади. Офіційна повна назва спілки — (англ. National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada) — «Національна автомобільна, аерокосмічна, транспортна та загальна спілка працівників Канади». У 2013 році об'єдналася з Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada, утворивши нову профспілку Unifor.
