- باربارا بال (بالإنجليزية: Barbara Ball)، (13 يونيو 1924 - 13 مارس 2011)، طبيبة، سياسية وناشطة اجتماعية. كانت أول طبيبة تمارس الطب في بيرمودا، حيث قامت بمعالجة السود والبيض على حد سواء دون تمييز، وهو الأمر الغير عادي خلال فترة الخمسينيات. حيث فرض العزل العنصري بشكل صارم خلال هذه الفترة، تجاهلت بربارا بال المعايير الاجتماعية، حيث كانت تناضل بنشاط من أجل الحقوق المدنية لسكان بيرمودا السود. عملت كعضو في برلمان بيرمودا ومثلت العمال السود من خلال عملها مع اتحاد برمودا الصناعي . في عام 1963، وفي اجتماع للأمم المتحدة أقيم بشأن الاستعمار، قامت بال بطرح قضية العمال السود على الجزيرة. في سنة 2000 حازت على وسام الإمبراطورة البريطانية. - Barbara Ball MRCS, LRCP, OBE (13 June 1924 – 13 March 2011) was a Bermudian physician, politician and social activist. She was the first woman physician to practice in Bermuda and took both black and white patients, an unusual event in the 1950s. During the time that segregation was rigidly enforced, Ball actively ignored the social norms, actively fighting for the civil rights of black Bermudians. She served as a member of the Parliament of Bermuda and represented black workers through her work with the Bermuda Industrial Union. In 1963, at a United Nations meeting regarding colonialism, Ball brought the situation of black workers on the island to the table. In 2000, she was honoured as an officer of the Order of the British Empire. (en)

Fue la primera mujer médica en ejercer en Bermuda y recibió pacientes blancos y negros, un evento inusual en la década de 1950. Durante el tiempo en que la segregación se impuso rígidamente, Ball ignoró las normas sociales y luchó activamente por los derechos civiles de los negros de las Bermudas. Se desempeñó como miembro del Parlamento de Bermuda y representó a los trabajadores negros a través de su trabajo con la Unión Industrial de Bermuda.
