- Die Insel Maryah (arabisch المرية, DMG al-Marya, vormals Sowwah arabisch الصوة, DMG aṣ-Ṣūwa) befindet sich nordöstlich des Stadtzentrums von Abu Dhabi, der Hauptstadt der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate. Die Insel ist 105 Hektar groß und liegt zwischen dem jetzigen Stadtzentrum und der Insel Reem. Maryah wird derzeit von der Investmentgesellschaft Mubadala zu einem neuen Stadtzentrum ausgebaut und gehört zu den größten Bauprojekten in Abu Dhabi. Am Ende des Bauprojektes, das aus mehreren Phasen besteht, soll die Insel neben Büro- und Wohnhochhäusern und Freizeitanlagen auch über medizinische Einrichtungen verfügen, wie zum Beispiel die . Bauphase 1 sollte 2010 abgeschlossen worden sein, die endgültige Fertigstellung ist für 2014[veraltet] vorgesehen. Mittelpunkt der Insel soll der Sowwah Square werden, der neben dem neuen Börsengebäude von Abu Dhabi auch vier Bürotürme (zwei mit 31 Etagen und zwei mit 37 Etagen) beinhalten wird. Die folgenden Gebäude sollen auf Maryah errichtet werden:

- Al Maryah Island (Arabic: جزيرة المارية), formerly known as Sowwah Island, is a natural island located northeast of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is named for a famous oasis region in Abu Dhabi, Al Mariyah, which in turn is named after the species of Arabian deer - Al Mariyah - which live there. Al Maryah Island covers approximately 114 hectares and is currently being developed by Mubadala to be a new city center. It is one of the largest construction sites in Abu Dhabi. The center of the island is Abu Dhabi Global Market Square (formerly Sowwah Square), northeast of the city center of Abu Dhabi. Construction of Abu Dhabi Global Market Square started in 2007, and the first buildings opened in 2011. The island contains multiple towers and buildings, including Al Sila Tower, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. (en)
