Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan (Urdu: چودھری اعتزاز احسن; born 27 September 1945) is a Pakistani politician and lawyer. He served two times as the Leader of the House in the Senate of Pakistan from 1994 to 1997 and again from 2012 to 2015. He also served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate. He was elected a member of the Senate of Pakistan from Punjab in 1994. His tenure ended in March 2018.

Ahsan studierte Rechtswissenschaften am Government College in Lahore und erhielt einen LLM vom Downing College in Cambridge.Er bewarb sich für eine zivile Anstellung bei den pakistanischen Behörden und bestand die Aufnahmeprüfung. Ahsan wurde Teil des Kabinetts und zum Minister für Rundfunk und Information ernannt.Er verließ das Kabinett aber, da die Polizei in Punjab auf Demonstranten bei Protesten gegen Wahlbetrug, schoss. Er trat der PPP nach der Operation Fair Play wieder bei und beteiligte sich aktiv an der Bewegung zur Wiederherstellung der Demokratie (M. D. R). Er wurde dafür mehrmals in Haft genommen. Bei den Parlamentswahlen in Pakistan 1988 konnte Ahsan für seinen Wahlkreis Lahore zum ersten Mal ins Parlament einziehen.Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan wurde Teil des Kabinetts und zum Justizminister ernannt. Bei den Senatswahlen 2012 wurde Ahsan zum zweiten Mal Mitglied des Senats.Er gab 2013 jedoch seinen Rücktritt aus dem Senat bekannt.Ahsan ist als Anwalt häufig beim Obersten Gerichtshof Pakistanstätig. Ahsan was elected as a member of the Senate in 1994. He re-joined the cabinet after Benazir's re-election, and went on to serve as the Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights until 1997.
