- Die Saison 2010/11 ist die zweite Spielzeit der im Vorjahr neu kreierten Liga de Ascenso, der zweiten Fußballliga Mexikos. Sie wird im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um eine Mannschaft aufgestockt und hat somit 18 Teilnehmer. Durch die Aufstockung entging der Guerreros FC dem Abstieg, spielte aber dennoch nur in der Vorrunde (Apertura 2010). Neu dabei sind der CF Indios, Absteiger aus der Primera División, sowie der Altamira FC, der im Vorjahr in der drittklassigen Segunda División spielte. Nicht mehr dabei ist der Aufsteiger des Vorjahres, Necaxa. (de)
- The 2010–11 Ascenso MX season is the second season of the Liga de Ascenso, the second-level football league of Mexico. It consists of two separate tournaments, the and the . The winners of both tournaments will meet in a playoff to determine the team being promoted to the 2011–12 Primera Division de Mexico season. The Apertura tournament began on July, 16th 2010 with the first matches of the classification phase and ended on December, 4th 2010 with the Apertura Liguilla final. The final was won by Tijuana, who defeated Veracruz 3–0 on aggregate. The Clausura tournament began on January, 7th 2011 and ended on May, 14th 2011. The final was won by Irapuato, who defeated Tijuana. The following week, Apertura champion Tijuana defeated Clausura champion Irapuato in a playoff to determine the team promoted to the 2011–12 Liga MX season. That playoff took place on 18 May 2011 and May, 21st 2011. (en)
- La Liga de Ascenso 2010-2011 è stata la seconda edizione della Liga de Ascenso, secondo livello del calcio messicano, precedentemente chiamata Primera División A. Il campionato era strutturato in un torneo di apertura ed uno di clausura. I vincitori dei due tornei si sarebbero affrontati per determinare quale squadra sarebbe stata promossa alla Primera División. Il torneo di apertura, cominciato il 16 luglio 2010 e conclusosi il 4 dicembre con la finale della Liguilla, ha visto trionfare il Tijuana, che ha battuto per un totale di 3-0 il Veracruz. Il clausura, iniziato il 7 gennaio 2011 e terminato il 14 maggio, ha visto prevalere l'Irapuato nella finale contro il Tijuana. Nel doppio spareggio per la promozione, il Tijuana ha sconfitto i campioni del clausura, guadagnandosi così l'accesso alla Primera División. (it)
