The Cal honorees were quarterback Johnny Meek (AP, INS, UP), halfbacks Vic Bottari (INS, UP) and Sam Chapman (AP, INS, UP), end Perry Schwartz (AP, UP), guard Vard Stockton (AP, INS, UP), and center Bob Herwig (AP, INS, UP).
