Proseč is a village and municipality (obec) in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 3.82 square kilometres (1.47 sq mi), and has a population of 82 (as at 28 August 2006). Proseč lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) north-east of Pelhřimov, 30 km (19 mi) north-west of Jihlava, and 85 km (53 mi) south-east of Prague.
