Gezin is a belde (town) in Maden district of Elazığ Province, Turkey at 38°31′N 39°31′E / 38.517°N 39.517°E. It is on Turkish state highway on the east shore of Lake Hazar, 25 kilometres (16 mi) from Maden and 55 kilometres (34 mi) from Elazığ. As of|2013 the population was 1106. Formerly Gezin was situated several kilometers east of its present location, but was moved to its present place by the lake. In 1994 Gezin was declared a seat of township. Town economy used to depend on animal husbandry, but after irrigation facilities were improved, farming superseded animal husbandry.
