George Edwards (2 December 1920 – 21 October 2008) was a Welsh international footballer. After making his Football League debut for Swansea Town, his career was interrupted by the outbreak of the Second World War. He turned professional with Birmingham City in 1944 before joining Cardiff City four years later. He represented Wales at international level, winning twelve caps.
