Carla Werner is a singer and songwriter from New Zealand who began her music career at age 11. After migrating to Australia in 1994, she formed The Cool Tin Box, a short-lived acoustic-rock quintet which also featured lead guitarist Tim Cooper and ex Go-Between Lindy Morrison on drums. When they disbanded the following year, she and Cooper began performing together as an acoustic duo, and also as part of her own band featuring Dario Botolin and bass and Lucius Borich on drums.
