Gloria Marilyn Shillingford is a Dominican educator and a politician in the Labour Party. She has served in the House of Assembly of Dominica since 2005. Shillingford graduated from Teikyo-Westmar University with a Bachelor of Arts. She began working as a teacher in 1979, and eventually became principal of St. Andrews High School. She remained in education until she entered electoral politics. Shillingford has also served as the Minister for Social Services, Community Development and Gender Affairs, and as Secretary General of the UNESCO Dominica Commission.
