Yuri Rozum (born 22 February 1954 in Moscow, USSR) is a Russian-born concert pianist and philanthropist. Rozum was born to famous musical parents. His father was baritone and his mother was , conductor of the . Both were recipients of the title of People's Artist of the USSR. When Rozum was only age seven, his mother discovered that he had perfect pitch, leading to his immediate enrolment in the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory, where he would later study under Lev Naumov and Yevgeny Malinin, themselves students of Heinrich Neuhaus.

Juri Rosum studierte am Moskauer Tschaikowsky-Konservatorium, wo er als einer der talentiertesten Studenten galt. 1975 wurde er ausgewählt, um am Concours Musical Reine Elisabeth für Klavier in Brüssel teilzunehmen. Aufgrund religiöser und politischer Gründe wurde ihm jedoch von den sowjetischen Behörden die Ausreise nicht bewilligt. Erst Jahre später hatte Juri Rosum die Möglichkeit sein Können auch im Ausland unter Beweis zu stellen. Rasch erlangte er internationale Anerkennung.
