(en) Wilfrid Rhodes Freeman (Londra, 18 luglio 1888 – 15 maggio 1953) è stato un aviatore e militare britannico che combatté nelle file del Royal Flying Corps durante il corso della prima guerra mondiale, transitando poi in servizio nella Royal Air Force nel 1919. Dopo aver svolto numerosi incarichi, tra ciò quello di comandante dell'aeronautica inglese presente in Transgiordania e Palestina, nel 1936 fu nominato membro dell'Air Council per la ricerca, lo sviluppo e la produzione aeronautica, dando grande impulso al riarmo della Royal Air Force in vista dello scoppio della seconda guerra mondiale. Fu diretto responsabile della massa in produzione degli Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire, De Havilland Mosquito, Avro Lancaster, Handley-Page Halifax, Short S.29 Stirling e Hawker Tempest.
