William Uhler Hensel (December 4, 1851 – February 27, 1915) was a Pennsylvania newspaper editor, lawyer, author, and state Attorney General. He was very active in politics, and a noted political speaker, but steadfastly declined any official post beyond his term as Attorney General. Hensel authored several books, most notably biographies of Grover Cleveland and his running mates Thomas A. Hendricks and Allen G. Thurman.
