Vladimir Vladimirovich Belousov (Russian: Влади́мир Влади́мирович Белоу́сов) (30 October [O.S. 17 October] 1907 in Moscow – December 25, 1990) was an Earth scientist in the Soviet Union, and a prominent advocate of alternatives to the theories of plate tectonics and seafloor spreading during the period of the 20th century in which debate on these subjects was most intense. Although his theories were ultimately rejected by the scientific community, he was an important figure in the development of the Earth sciences within the Soviet union following the Second World War.

Bekannt wurde er vor allem als konsequenter Vertreter des Fixismus in den Geowissenschaften und Gegner der Plattentektonik. In den 1960er Jahren unternahm er zur Untermauerung seiner tektonischen Theorie Expeditionen in den ostafrikanischen Grabenbruch. Er war auswärtiges Mitglied der Geological Society of London. En 1942 estuvo a la cabeza del departamento de geodinámica en la Academia soviética de las ciencias, Moscú, y a partir de 1953 se convirtió en profesor de geofísica en la Universidad Estatal de Moscú. En 1961 fue presidente del "Soviet Joint Geophysical Committee".
