Uppsalatidningen is a politically independent free newspaper in Uppsala, Sweden, which is published by Direct Press. The magazine was first published January 16, 2005 and is distributed to all households in Uppsala. In many public places in Uppsala and its surroundings it can also be found in magazine racks. The paper monitors the municipality including society, culture, sports and entertainment from a local perspective. Circulation is 100,000 copies, of which 80,800 are sent directly to house holds every Friday, 18,900 copies are distributed via news stands and 300 copies are delivered addressed.

- Uppsalatidningen är en politiskt oberoende lokaltidning i Uppsala som utkommer som gratistidning till i stort sett samtliga hushåll i Uppsala och Knivsta. Tidningen kommer ut en gång i veckan, och gavs ut första gången den 16 januari 2005. På många offentliga platser i Uppsala med omnejd kan man också ta tidningen i ställ. Uppsalatidningen bevakar bland annat samhälle, kultur, sport och nöje ur ett lokalt perspektiv. Tidningen omfattar normalt mellan 52 och 64 sidor och innehåller cirka 50 procent annonser (beräknat på tidningens totala yta), vilket gör det journalistiska innehållet omfattande. Det redaktionella innehållet är helt oberoende av annonsinnehållet och inriktat på lokala händelser och personer i Uppsalaområdet. På annonsmarknaden konkurrerar Uppsalatidningen framgångsrikt med UNT, Upsala Nya Tidning. Sedan Uppsalatidningen startade 2005 har annonspriserna pressats, vilket medfört att priserna i UNT idag[när?] är hälften av vad de var före Uppsalatidningens start.[källa behövs] Tidningen ägs numera av NTM-koncernen, som också äger UNT.
