The United Nations Administrative Tribunal (UNAT) was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1950 to be the final arbiter over alleged non-observance of contracts of employment and other binding regulations of all staff working in the United Nations Secretariat. As of 30 June 2009 the mandate of the United Nations Administrative Tribunal has ended. The new internal justice system, United Nations Appeals Tribunal (UNAT) went into effect on 1 July 2009. Dezember 2009 aufgelöst zugunsten eines neu geschaffenen Gerichtsystems, das aus dem United Nations Dispute Tribunal als Gericht erster Instanz und dem United Nations Appeals Tribunal als Berufungsgericht besteht. À la suite d'une refonte du système juridique interne des Nations unies, le tribunal administratif est remplacé le 1er juillet 2009 par un système à double degré de juridiction : une instance du premier degré, le Tribunal du contentieux administratif des Nations unies, et une instance d'appel, le Tribunal d’appel des Nations unies.
