| - Thymolphthalein ist ein Triphenylmethanfarbstoff und gehört zur Familie der Phthaleine. Der Name setzt sich aus Thymol und Phthalsäureanhydrid zusammen. Das entsprechende Sulfonphthalein ist das Thymolblau. Es wird wie Phenolphthalein als pH-Indikator eingesetzt. (de)
