Thrasymedes /ˌθræsɪˈmiːdiz/ of Paros (Greek: Θρασυμήδης ο Παριανός) was an ancient Greek sculptor. Formerly he was regarded as a pupil of Phidias because he set up in the temple of Asclepius at Epidaurus a seated statue of that deity made of ivory and gold, which was evidently a copy of the Statue of Zeus at Olympia by Pheidias. An inscription found at Epidaurus yet proves that the temple and the statue belong to the 4th century.

Około 370 p.n.e. wykonał chryzelefantynowy posąg kultowy Asklepiosa w Epidauros o wysokości około 7 m. Asklepios siedział na tronie z jedną ręką wspartą na lasce, z drugą spoczywającą na głowie węża, z psem leżącym u stóp. Posąg się nie zachował, znany jest jednak z przedstawień na monetach z Epidauros. Trasymedes otrzymał również polecenie wykonania ze złota i kości słoniowej sufitu i drzwi wejściowych świątyni Asklepiosa w Epidauros. Ponadto wykonał dar wotywny dla Asklepiosa. (pl)
