| - Thomas Choe Yang-eop ou Ch'oe Yang-Ōp Thomas est un prêtre catholique coréen, né le 1er mars 1821, mort le 15 juin 1861. À l'époque de la dynastie Joseon, il parcourt la Corée en proie aux persécutions, pour administrer les sacrements aux chrétiens dans leurs cachettes, jusqu'à sa mort. Le 26 avril 2016, le pape François reconnaît l'héroïcité de ses vertus et il est proclamé « vénérable ». (fr)

- Choe Yang-Eop Thomas (1 March 1821 – 15 June 1861), also spelled Ch'oe Yang-Ōp Thomas, was a Korean Roman Catholic priest during the Joseon dynasty, who travelled across Eastern Asia as a seminarian and priest before settling at last after a period of persecution back in his homeland where he administered to hidden Christians until his death. His father was canonized as a saint in 1984 and his mother was beatified in 2014. (en)
