- Le temple d'Apollon dont les ruines sont visibles aujourd'hui date du IVe siècle av. J.-C. et se présente comme un édifice périptère d'ordre dorique. Il a été érigé par Spintharos de Corinthe, Xenodoros et Agathon sur les restes d'un temple plus ancien datant du VIe siècle av. J.-C. lui-même érigé sur une construction datant du VIIe siècle av. J.-C. attribuée aux architectes Trophonios et Agamedes. Il se situe au cœur du sanctuaire panhellénique de Delphes. (fr)
- The Temple of Apollo, god of music, harmony, light, healing, and oracles occupied the most important and prominent position in the Delphic Panhellenic Sanctuary. The edifice with the partially restored colonnade visible today dates to the 20th century BC and, according to ancient accounts, five different temples were built throughout history. The famous oracle, the Pythia, operated inside the temple, the location chosen, according to one tradition, due to a sacred chasm beneath the site emitting vapours, which were inhaled by the Pythia. - De Apollotempel van Delphi bevindt zich in een der beroemdste cultusplaatsen van de god Apollo uit de oudheid en is bekend vanwege het orakel dat erin gevestigd was, het meest bezochte en gerespecteerde orakel van de gehele oudheid. Later werd hier ook de god Dionysus vereerd. In het jaar 394 werd dat orakel gesloten door keizer Theodosius. De nu nog zichtbare ruïnes van de Apollotempel in Delphi dateren uit de 4e eeuw voor Christus. Daarvoor stonden op exact dezelfde plaats nog vijf andere tempels. De eerste vier Apollotempels zijn totaal vergaan. De vijfde en zesde waren van marmer. (nl)

Foi erguido por Espíntaro, Xenodoros e Agathon nos restos de um templo anterior, datado do século VI a. C., que por sua vez foi erguido no local de uma construção do século VII a. - El temple d'Apol·lo a Delfos va ser un temple d'estil dòric perípter, que es remunta al segle iv aC. Fou edificat damunt les restes d'un temple anterior, del segle vi aC, que al seu torn fou erigit a l'emplaçament d'un altre del segle vii aC. S'atribueix als arquitectes Trofoni i Agamedes. Va sobreviure fins al 390, quan l'emperador cristià Teodosi I silencià l'oracle amb la destrucció del temple i la major part d'estàtues i obres d'art en nom de la Cristiandat. El santuari fou completament derruït pels cristians zelosos de la seua fe, en un intent d'esborrar qualsevol rastre de paganisme. (ca)
- Apollónův chrám v Delfách je starověký řecký chrám v Delfách ve Fókidě ve Středním Řecku. První známý Apollónův chrám v Delfách byl postaven koncem 7. století před Kr., avšak tento chrám v roce 548 před Kr. vyhořel. Na jeho místě byl v letech - postaven nový chrám, peripteros (stylobate 21,7 x 58,2). Také tento chrám byl zničen požárem a zemětřesením v roce 373, obnovený byl ve 4. století. (cs)
