The Tém (also known as the Temba or Kotokoliare) an ethnic group of Togo, but also found in Benin and Ghana. There is reported to be about 417,000 of the Tém, with 339,000 in Togo, 60,000 in Ghana and 18,000 in Benin. They speak the Tem language.

Ethnisch gesehen ist die Gruppe der Tem-Sprecher jedoch ein sehr heterogenes Gebilde. Ihre Sprache Tem gehört mit zur Gur-Gruppe der Niger-Kongo-Sprachen. Die heutige Anzahl der Tem-Sprecher wird auf eine Gesamtzahl von 307.100 geschätzt, wovon 204.100 (1991) in Togo leben, ca. 50.000 (2001) auf dem Gebiet der Republik Benin und etwa 53.000 im Gebiet des heutigen Ghana.
