After the 2008 ANZ Championship season, Amaru-Tibble received a callup from Central Pulse head coach Kate Carpenter to play for the Wellington-based franchise, who had failed to secure a win that year. Carpenter was eventually dismissed as coach of the team, but Amaru-Tibble was retained for the 2009 season under new head coach McCausland-Durie, where she has played as a goal shooter partnering Paula Griffin. In 2009 Amaru-Tibble also played with PIC in the Wellington Regional Super League, in the leadup to the National Provincial Championships. (en)
