Speerschneider Point (65°45′S 66°10′W / 65.750°S 66.167°W) is a point on Belogushev Island forming the west side of the entrance to Malmgren Bay on the west side of Renaud Island, in the Biscoe Islands. First accurately shown on an Argentine government chart of 1957. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1959 for , Danish meteorologist, who was editor of the annual reports on the state of the sea ice in the Arctic issued by , 1910–34.

| - Der Speerschneider Point ist eine Landspitze am nordwestlichen Ende von Belogushev Island im Archipel der Biscoe-Inseln westlich der Antarktischen Halbinsel. Sie markiert die Westseite der Einfahrt zur Malmgren Bay. Die Landspitze ist erstmals auf einer argentinischen Landkarte aus dem Jahr 1957 verzeichnet. Das UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee benannte sie 1959 nach dem dänischen Meteorologen (1864–1938), von 1910 bis 1934 Autor der Jahresberichte des Danmarks Meteorologiske Institut zur Meereisentwicklung. Ursprünglich wurde sie der Renaud-Insel zugeschlagen. Erst im Zuge des zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts einsetzenden Eisrückgangs infolge des Klimawandels offenbarte sie sich als Teil einer neu entdeckten Insel. (de)
