- El Consejo Soberano de Sudán fue un órgano o junta cívico-militar creado para gobernar la República de Sudán por un periodo de 39 meses a partir del 20 de agosto de 2019, establecido en el Proyecto de Declaración Constitucional. Su función era gobernar Sudán hasta que los ciudadanos sean convocados a elecciones, previstas para 2022; no obstante, a causa del golpe de Estado de 2021, el gobierno fue disuelto el 25 de octubre. Создан в соответствии с проектом Конституционной декларации от августа 2019 года, принятой Переходным военным советом Судана с одной стороны и Альянсом за свободу и перемены с другой. В соответствии со статьёй 10 пункт b проекта Конституционной декларации, Совет состоит из пяти гражданских лиц, выбранных Альянсом за свободу и перемены (АСП), пяти военнослужащих, выбранных Переходным военным советом (ПВС), и гражданского лица, выбранного по соглашению между АСП и ПВC. - Le Conseil de souveraineté est le chef de l'État collégial du Soudan pendant la période de transition de 39 mois faisant suite aux manifestations de 2018-2019 au Soudan et à l'accord signé le 17 août 2019. Il est composé de 5 militaires, 5 civils, et d'un dernier membre choisis par consensus par les deux groupes. En 2021, le Conseil est élargi à trois chefs rebelles. Le Conseil est dissout en octobre 2021 à la suite du coup d'État du 25 octobre. (fr)

Under Article 10.(b) of the Draft Constitutional Declaration, it was composed of five civilians chosen by the Forces of Freedom and Change alliance (FFC), five military representatives chosen by the Transitional Military Council (TMC), and a civilian selected by agreement between the FFC and TMC. The chair for the first 21 months was a military member, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and for the remaining 18 months the chair was to be a civilian member, under Article 10.(c). The Sovereignty Council was mostly male, with only two female members: Aisha Musa el-Said and Raja Nicola. Under Article 19 of the Draft Constitutional Declaration, the eleven Sovereignty Council members are ineligible to run in the election scheduled to follow the transition period. (en)
