Zenari's work on vegetation in the Dolomites was the last significant phytosociological research completed in the Dolomites for thirty years. Zenari later went on to become a Professor of Systemic Botany at University of Padua in Padova. The standard author abbreviation Zenari is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name. (en)
