Sentrum, meaning city-centre, is located on the southeast side of Oslo near the inner Oslofjord. The district is dominated by high rises like Postgirobygget and The Plaza. Oslo's Central Station is located on the eastern side of the borough. Sentrum consists of Bjørvika which has a history as Oslo's main harbour. The area is now being rebuilt with modern high rises consisting of the Barcode and also several student apartments, schools and museums. Sentrum is not a borough with an administration. It is partially administrated by St. Hanshaugen, and in part directly by the city council. The borough St. Hanshaugen takes care of health and social services.

| - Sentrum ist eine administrative Einteilung der norwegischen Hauptstadt Oslo, hat aber nicht den Status eines Stadtteiles. Es hat 1.471 Einwohner (2020) und eine Fläche von 1,8 km². Das Stadtzentrum wurde bei der Unterteilung 1988 keinem Bezirk zugewiesen, weil die Landzuteilung des Stadtzentrums weiterhin in der Verantwortung des Stadtrats liegen sollte und nicht einer Stadtteilverwaltung. - Sentrum is een stadsdeel van Oslo, gelegen in het centrum van de stad en binnen de gemeentegrenzen eerder in het zuidoosten. In 2017 telde het 1.146 inwoners. Het gebied beslaat een oppervlakte van 1,8 vierkante kilometer. Het stadsdeel verschilt van zowat alle andere stadsdelen in het feit dat het geen administratief district met eigen administratie is als de andere stadsdelen.
