The semaine sanglante ("Bloody Week") was a weeklong battle in Paris from 21 to 28 May 1871, during which the French Army recaptured the city from the Paris Commune. This was the final battle of the Paris Commune.

  • Krvavý týden (francouzsky Semaine sanglante) je ve francouzských dějinách označení pro sérii bojů a masakrů, které se odehrály v závěru existence Pařížské komuny ve dnech 21. – 28. května 1871. Proti sobě stálo 130 000 vojáků versailleské vlády a zhruba 25 až 30 000 komunardů. Ztráty na straně Versailleských dosáhly 877 mrtvých, 6454 zraněných, 183 nezvěstných a asi 50–100 popravených rukojmích. Z komunardů se udává mrtvých 6000–30 000, kteří padli v boji či byli popraveni a 43 522 uvězněných osob. (cs)
