The Sanremo Music Festival 1984 was the 34th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, between 2 and 4 February 1984 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show was presented by Pippo Baudo, who also served as the artistic director, assisted by Iris Peynado, Elisabetta Gardini, Tiziana Pini and Edy Angelillo. The winners of the Big Artists section were Al Bano and Romina Power with the song "Ci sarà", while Patty Pravo won the Critics Award with "Per una bambola". Eros Ramazzotti won the Newcomers section with the song "Terra promessa".

  • Il trentaquattresimo Festival di Sanremo si svolse al Teatro Ariston di Sanremo dal 2 al 4 febbraio 1984 e fu condotto da Pippo Baudo, al rientro al Festival dopo il suo esordio nel 1968, affiancato da Edy Angelillo, Elisabetta Gardini, Iris Peynado e Tiziana Pini (quest'ultima al suo secondo festival, dopo quello del 1976) e, nel ruolo di damigelle, Isabella Rocchietta e Viola Simoncioni, che all'epoca avevano rispettivamente 6 e 7 anni. Fu l'edizione che vide l'esordio di una competizione parallela, quella delle Nuove proposte di fianco a quella principale, ribattezzata Big. (it)
