Rodolfo Barragán Schwarz (1931 – 12 November 2017) was a Mexican architect. Barragán studied at the ITESM, and later under Paul Rudolph at Yale School of Architecture. Afterwards he worked in Italy with Giovanni Michelucci. Amongst others, he taught at the UNAM from 1961 to 1968, and at the Universidad Iberoamericana from 1962 to 1974, where he was also director of the department of architecture 1968 to 1974. He was the father of the current Dean of the School of Architecture at ITESM, Dr. Rodolfo Barragán Delgado. He died at the age of 86 in his hometown of Monterrey, Nuevo León.

| - Rodolfo Barragán Schwarz (1931-2017) fue un arquitecto mexicano originario de Monterrey, Nuevo León. Estudió en el Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, y más tarde en la Universidad Yale, en dónde obtuvo una maestría en 1960, trabajando más tarde en Italia con el arquitecto Giovanni Michelucci. Entre sus obras destacan las oficinas de la Fundidora de Monterrey, hoy ocupadas por la Secretaría de Obras Públicas de Nuevo León, y la casa para el primer Sorteo de la Siembra Cultural, motivo de una monografía titulada Una Casa en Monterrey. La casa revela la influencia de las Case Study Houses de California, mientras que las oficinas conjugan el purismo de Mies van der Rohe y el expresionismo estructural de Eero Saarinen.
