Robert Steeples (born November 27, 1989) is an American football former player and current Cornerbacks coach for LSU Football. He is the former assistant special teams coach for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). As a cornerback, he played college football for both the University of Missouri and the University of Memphis. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent for the St. Louis Rams. He also played for the Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys. Prior to becoming an NFL assistant coach and Collegiate defensive backs coach , Steeples served as Head Coach at De Smet Jesuit for 5 seasons, from 2016 to 2020. During his tenure as head coach, Steeples was named the 2020 All-American Bowl (high school football) National Coach of the year, 2019 MFCA Coac
