Rescue Shot is a PlayStation 3D light gun video game which was released in Japan and Europe in 2000. Compatible with the controller, GunCon and the PlayStation Mouse the title is non-violent and aimed at younger players, but more forgiving of poor accuracy than others in the genre. Players watch over the game's hero, Bo, as he absentmindedly makes his way through each location, dealing with enemies and manoeuvering him past dangers.

Presentato in anteprima all'edizione 1999 del Tokyo Game Show, fa parte della loro linea di titoli per la console compatibili con GunCon (il quarto in ordine di produzione), che però, a differenza degli altri non uscì mai come cabinato da sala. Ciò nonostante, è usufruibile anche del tradizionale controller DualShock e del mouse ufficiale. (it)

Rispetto agli standard dei videogiochi di cotale genere è nonviolento, ove nel quale si ricopre il ruolo primario di assistere (concetto che sta all'origine del nome attuale) da una sorta di "dietro le quinte" Bo, un ingenuo e indifeso coniglio antropomorfo, coprendogli le spalle da una serie di eventualità durante l'intero corso della sua avventura. Una demo venne pubblicata solo in Giappone nel 1999, la quale è stata inclusa in una confezione da un unico CD con quella di BioHazard Gun Survivor della Capcom. (it)
