John M. "Red" Pollard (October 27, 1909 – March 7, 1981) was a Canadian horse racing jockey. A founding member of the Jockeys' Guild in 1940, Pollard rode at racetracks in the United States and is best known for riding Seabiscuit.

Obwohl er für einen Jockey zu groß war und bereits zu Beginn seiner Karriere infolge eines Trainingsunfalls an seinem rechten Auge erblindete, setzte er sich im Sport durch. 1936 wurde er als Jockey für den Hengst Seabiscuit angeheuert, welcher unter ihm zum erfolgreichsten Rennpferd der damaligen Zeit wurde. 1940 gewann er mit Seabiscuit das in Arcadia (Kalifornien), Seabiscuits letztes Rennen. Von insgesamt 30 Starts gewannen die beiden 18 Rennen. (de)
