- Eine Proklamation (von lat. proclamare, „laut ausrufen, schreien“; aus pro, „vor, für“, und clamare, „rufen“; und von frz. proclamation, „Ausrufung, Verkündigung“) ist ein öffentlicher Aufruf, eine Bekanntmachung oder eine öffentliche Erklärung, historisch durch einen Proklamator vollzogen. Die Bekanntmachung der Heiratsabsicht von zwei Personen, des Aufgebots, wurde als „Proklamation“ bezeichnet, da sie durch Verlesen eines entsprechenden Textes im Rahmen des Gottesdienstes geschah.
- Orędzie (inaczej apel, odezwa) – uroczyste oznajmienie, przemówienie ważnej osoby w państwie (zwykle polityka) skierowane do ogółu. Zwykle dotyczy bieżącej sytuacji politycznej w kraju. Często orędzia pojawiają się przed i po wyborach, a także w trakcie uroczystych wizyt polityków. Orędzia mogą wygłaszać również osoby duchowne (np. papież lub biskupi), są też orędzia maryjne (np. orędzia fatimskie), wzywające do nawrócenia.
