- Prasat Muang Tam (Thai: ปราสาทเมืองต่ำ, RTGS: Prasat Mueang Tam, pronounced [prāː.sàːt mɯ̄a̯ŋ tàm]; lit. 'lowland castle') is a Khmer Hindu Temple in Prakhon Chai District, Buriram Province, Thailand. It is primarily in the Khleang and Baphuon styles, which dates its primary phases of construction to the late-10th and early-11th centuries. The primary deity was Shiva, although Vishnu was also worshipped there. A small probably contemporaneous with the temple, lay to the east, while a later, larger baray survives further north between Muang Tam and Phanom Rung. (en)

Il se situe non loin du Prasat Phnom Rung. Il a été restauré par le Département des Beaux Arts de Thaïlande. Ce temple était dédié à Shiva -un grand linga occupait le sanctuaire central et un fronton de la tour nord-est montre Shiva et Parvati sur Nandin- mais on a également découvert des fragments d'une statue de Vishnou. - Prasat Mueang Tam (in thai:ปราสาทหินเมืองต่ำ, in RTGS Prasat Hin Mueang Tam), è un tempio khmer nel della provincia di Buri Ram, in Thailandia. Lo stile architettonico rientra nei canoni Kleang e Baphuon (in particolare la presenza di kala scolpiti sugli architravi), il che fa supporre sia stato costruito nei decenni a cavallo dell'anno 1000. Vi si veneravano Shiva e Visnù. Il complesso è in buone condizioni e le quattro torri minori, in mattoni, sono state restaurate tra il 1989 e il 1996, ma la torre centrale è in rovina. (it)
