Peter Clingerman Fishburn (September 2, 1936 – June 10, 2021) was an American mathematician, known as a pioneer in the field of decision theory. In collaboration with Steven Brams, Fishburn published a paper about approval voting in 1978.

Er ist bekannt für Arbeiten mit Steven Brams über Wahl durch Zustimmung (1977). 1996 erhielt er den John-von-Neumann-Theorie-Preis. 1984 wurde er Fellow des Institute of Mathematical Statistics. 1970 erhielt er den Lanchester Prize der Operations Research Society of America und 1987 deren Ramsey Medal.
