Perkinsville, Arizona, is a populated place in Yavapai County, in the U.S. state of Arizona. It is a hamlet about 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from the Perkinsville Bridge over the Verde River. The Verde Canyon Railroad, a passenger excursion line, runs between Clarkdale and Perkinsville on the tracks of the Clarkdale Arizona Central Railroad, a shortline. The excursion train engines disconnect at Perkinsville and move along a siding to reconnect at the opposite end of the train for the return trip to Clarkdale. The track through Perkinsville is also used to haul freight between Clarkdale and Drake, on the Clarkdale Arizona Central Railroad.
