Pejompongan is a residential area located north of Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, and in the east area of Slipi in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kawasan ini dibangun sebagai prasarana untuk tempat tinggal pegawai negeri dan institusi negara lainnya yang harus bertempat tinggal di Jakarta. Pejompongan sebenarnya mempunyai stasiun kereta api. Sayangnya, stasiun kereta api bertipe halte yang terletak di Bendungan Hilir ini sudah dibongkar tahun 1990-an akibat elektrifikasi jalur kereta api Merak–Tanahabang.

Historically, the development of Pejompongan started with the plan to build clean water treatment in the area of central Jakarta. The first WTP was built in 1957. To improve the quality of raw water air supply, the city later built another plan in 1966. Pejompongan area is also known for its unique and exotic culinary choices. (en)
- Pejompongan adalah kawasan pemukiman kelas menengah ke atas di Jakarta yang mulai dikembangkan sejak masa 1950-an. Kawasan ini dibangun sebagai prasarana untuk tempat tinggal pegawai negeri dan institusi negara lainnya yang harus bertempat tinggal di Jakarta. Wilayah Pejompongan terletak di sebelah utara kompleks olahraga Senayan, dan di sebelah timur kawasan Slipi. Secara administratif berada dalam Kecamatan Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat dan sebagian besar berada di Kelurahan Bendungan Hilir. Kuliner yang cukup terkenal pada tahun 1980 an didaerah ini antara lain; Sate kambing Jono, Nasi Goreng Bumen Jaya, Bakso Saroja,Warung Tegal Warsap dan Nasi uduk bang Boim Pejompongan sebenarnya mempunyai stasiun kereta api. Sayangnya, stasiun kereta api bertipe halte yang terletak di Bendungan Hilir ini sudah dibongkar tahun 1990-an akibat elektrifikasi jalur kereta api Merak–Tanahabang.
