Payeftjauemawyneith or Peftuaneith was an ancient Egyptian high official who lived during the 26th Dynasty, serving under the kings Apries and Amasis. He is known from several monuments providing evidence for his importance. His mother was a woman called Nanesbastet. His father was an official called Sasobek with several titles including leader of the palace, Priest of Horus from Pe and Priest of Amun from the northern Thebes.

- Payeftjauemawyneith o Peftuaneith fue un alto funcionario del Antiguo Egipto que vivió durante la dinastía XXVI y sirvió bajo el reinado de Apries y el de Amosis II. Se lo conoce gracias a varios monumentos que dan cuenta de su importancia. De él hay una estatua cuya inscripción indica que es originaria de Heliópolis y que actualmente se encuentra en el Museo Británico (EA 83). Por otra estatua, hoy en el Louvre (A 93), se sabe que Payeftjauemawyneith ordenó varias obras de renovación en Abidos y sus alrededores durante el reinado de Amosis. Hay una mesa de ofrendas encontrada en Menfis y una tercera estatua también descubierta en la misma ciudad. Una cuarta se halló en una excavación en Buto. Payeftjauemawyneith ostentó varios títulos importantes, incluyendo mayordomo supremo e inspector de la doble tesorería. También tenía el título de "médico". Su madre era una mujer llamada Nanesbastet y su padre un oficial llamado Sasobek con varios títulos que incluyen jefe del palacio, sacerdote de Horus de Pe y Sacerdote de Amón de Tebas septentrional. There is a statue originally coming from Heliopolis as the inscription on the statue indicates, which is today in the British Museum (EA 83). From a further statue, now in the Louvre (A 93), it is known that Payeftjauemawyneith ordered several renovation works at Abydos and its surroundings during the reign of Amasis. There is an offering table found at Memphis and a third statue also discovered at Memphis. A fourth statue was excavated at Buto. Payeftjauemawyneith held several important titles, including high steward and overseer of the double treasury. He also held the title of a physician. His mother was a woman called Nanesbastet. His father was an official called Sasobek with several titles including leader of the palace, Priest of Horus from Pe and Priest of Amun from the northern Thebes. (en)
