Paulinus of Pella (377 – after 461) was a Christian poet of the fifth century. He wrote the autobiographical poem Eucharisticos ("Thanksgiving"). His poem is frequently used as an example of life in Gaul in the fifth century during the waning days of the Western Roman Empire.

(ca) Paulinus von Pella (* 376 in Pella in Makedonien; † nach 459 in Bordeaux) war ein spätantiker weströmischer Aristokrat und Autor. Einzige Quelle für das Leben des Paulinus ist seine in 616 Hexametern abgefasste Autobiographie, die er im Alter von 83 Jahren unter dem Titel Eucharisticos Deo sub ephemeridis meae textu verfasste. Paulinus entstammte demnach einer Familie der senatorischen Oberschicht und war der Enkel des berühmten gallischen Rhetors Ausonius. Er wurde geboren, während sein Vater als kaiserlicher vicarius der Provinz Macedonia amtierte; dabei ist unklar, ob sein Vater Hesperius war, der Sohn des Ausonius, oder Thalassius, sein Schwiegersohn, da Paulinus den Namen seines Vaters nicht erwähnt.
